Why It Belongs to the Rainy Season

During the rainy season, water volume turns the cliff into a powerful white curtain set against deep green forest.

The trail becomes rich with moss, ferns, mushrooms, orchids, and tropical plants that thrive in wet mountain air.

The Trail

The walk begins near the national park visitor area and enters cool mountain forest with shade for much of the route.

After about an hour, the sound of water grows louder before the waterfall appears. The final section can be slippery after heavy rain, so proper shoes matter.

Best Photo Angles

The front panorama captures the full waterfall, while the stream before the falls is good for soft-flowing water images.

Moss and fern corners create a rainforest feeling, and including people in the frame helps show the scale of the cascade.

Timing and Preparation

July and August bring fresh green forest and rising water. September is often the most dramatic month. October still has good water with slightly cooler conditions.
